Louona Tanner joins the Festival in cooperation with the Book Arts Program at the J. Willard Marriott Library.

Louona Tanner holds a B.F.A. from Weber State University and has continued her education by participating in various workshops and classes in book arts, calligraphy, and illumination around the country. She has studied illumination with Sheila Waters, Ken Harris, and Reggie Ezell. Louona teaches book arts for the Book Arts Program at the J. Willard Marriott Library, the Utah Calligraphic Artists Association, and Youth City Art Ways. She has exhibited her work at Ogden Eccles Art Center, Springville Art Museum, the Marriott Library, Rio Grand Gallery, and national calligraphy conventions.
