DIANNE NELSON OBERHANSLY is the author of A Brief History of Male Nudes in America, which received the 1992 Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction. She is also the coauthor of the novel Downwinders: An Atomic Tale and author of The Madonna of Starbucks: Stories, Poems and Essays Around Food. Her fiction has appeared in the Iowa Review, Ploughshares, and the New England Review.
