For decades archaeologists have relied upon their eyes to discern landscape features of Native peoples in the Four Corners region. With the advent of new technologies, landscape documentation is undergoing an amazing transformation. Join Crow Canyon Archaeological Center archaeologist Grant Coffey to learn how centuries-old features such as farm fields and Chaco-era roads are being re-examined. with 21st century technology. Part of Four Corners Lecture Series & Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month.

This event is part of the programming for the Museum on Main Street exhibition, Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with the M.T.
