Join USU History Professor Nichelle Frank and San Juan County Public Health Director Dr. Grant Sunada for a discussion about the environmental and human health impacts of mining, how the US environmental movement affected cultural landscapes in intermountain mining towns, and current efforts to change the legacies of mining in San Juan County.

This event is part of the programming for the Museum on Main Street exhibition, Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with the M.T.
